At AppleCast, we see every day how time in nature, hands-on learning and community support can change lives.
Each year, we help young people, adults with disabilities, community groups and families build confidence, skills and connection. Many arrive feeling isolated or unsure of their future. They leave with purpose, friendships, and hope.
Volunteers, visitors and local groups all play a part in helping us grow. Together, we’ve created a space where people of all ages and abilities can learn, connect, and thrive.
Every year:
• Over 80 young people re-engage with education and training
• Around 80 adults with disabilities join weekly wellbeing and horticulture sessions
• 200 families take part in free or low-cost activities
• 35 local volunteers give their time to help others
• 52 community groups use our hub as a base to connect
